Careers
Build with a crew that takes pride in the work.
We do the job right, keep the site clean, and show up when we say we will. If that's how you work too, let's talk.
Norkum Mechanical is a licensed and insured commercial mechanical contractor based in Saugus, MA. We do HVAC installation and service, custom ductwork fabrication, certified welding, and custom metalwork for general contractors, property managers, and building owners across the North Shore and Greater Boston. We're looking for tradespeople who care about doing the work correctly, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their scope.

Working at Norkum
Trades work, done seriously.
We run clean jobsites and tight installs. Every project goes out the door on schedule, to spec, with documentation the GC can hand to an owner. That standard applies to every person on the crew.
We hold OSHA 30 certification and a master sheet metal license. Certified welding is core to what we do — not an occasional add-on. If you bring skill and discipline to the work, you'll fit in.

Who we're looking for.
HVAC technicians
Commercial install and service — rooftop units, split systems, controls, and commissioning. EPA 608 required.
Sheet metal workers
Layout, fabrication, and installation of commercial ductwork from shop drawings to field install.
Certified welders
Structural and mechanical welding — on-site and in-shop. Certification is a hard requirement for welding scope.
Apprentices
Entry-level tradespeople who want to learn the right way — clean habits, good communication, willingness to improve.
What we look for
Standards we hold ourselves to.
On schedule
We commit to dates and we keep them. If something changes, we communicate early — not at deadline.
Clean execution
Tidy sites, tight installs, and quality that holds after the job is done. We don't leave problems for the next crew.
Safety first — OSHA 30
Our team is OSHA 30 trained. Safety isn't a topic we revisit at incident reviews — it's part of how we set up and run every job.
Clear communication
We flag issues before they become problems. Owners and GCs get straight answers, not vague status updates.
Licensed & insured
We operate as a licensed and insured mechanical contractor. Every person on the crew works to that standard.
Accountability
You own your scope. If something needs attention, you say so — you don't wait for someone else to catch it.
