Norkum's in-house fabrication shop in Saugus builds custom metalwork for commercial and industrial projects — equipment platforms, structural curbs and dunnage, custom hangers, sheet-metal assemblies, and one-off solutions — to your drawings and dimensions.
Keeping fabrication in-house means the shop and the field talk directly: we field-measure, build to the real condition, and install clean, without the rework that comes from splitting fabrication and installation between trades. It also puts certified welding and licensed sheet-metal work under one roof.

Greater Boston & the North Shore

Shop fabrication cuts material waste, tightens quality, and is measurably faster than building in the field — assemblies arrive dimensionally verified and tagged to the install drawings. For GCs that means fewer RFIs and change orders, and a single accountable contractor for the weld, the bracket, and the install.
For coastal North Shore work, we can select gauge, galvanizing, or stainless to suit salt exposure — engineered to last where standard inland material corrodes early.
